SOrry to those of you i try to keep updated on my life i dont do a very good job :(
Anyways mid july i went to missouri to help at the kamp where i completed my fourth summer at. they were in need of some help as the swine flu was rapid in missouri and around the kamp, so i was not planning on going but went to help and love it as always. i was there for one month helping in the kitchen mostly serving and cleaning. was back in michigan for just two weeks before coming out to new york city where i have been the past month!
I have been in new york city nannying my little one year old niece everyday and some other babysitting jobs as well. they pay pretty well out here, but its not all about the money. its been a big adjustment to get used to the big city where there is constant chaos all the time so its been a bit of a struggle. i have nto really met any one my same age yet either. i do start a fellowship group next thursday as part of the church where ive been going. so that will be nice. My niece Lola and I spend the days going to the park, library story time, museums, play groups and lots more its been a blast.
Originally i was only going to stay until the end of october when my brother in laws parents were going to take over until christmas but now they are not coming so i may stay through december, please be in prayer on that for me. thanks a ton, love to all my friends and family out there. May the Lord bless you and watch over you.

Happy July Already!
well another month come and gone, wow!!! the beginning of june i was able to see my sister and her husband and my cute little niece. The second sunday we shared about our time in Toronto which was incredible went really well and i shared our memory verses (1 Peter 3:8-17) from memory! That week my 20 year old bro his girlfriend and friend came to visit on their way to Maine for the summer. We spent some of that time up at our family cottage on lake michigan. So its been real nice to see family. Its a little rough at times but we march through. Its crazy how those closest to you such as family can also cause the most destruction and hurt! Ive been reading through the Psalms lately and have been fascinated with how real David is and especially how he comes to God with a broken and contrite heart and thats my cry and i want to come humbly before God like that. For the most part ive done a lot of sitting around besides going to cedar point once. My work at Bath and Body went down to minimal hours and so im lucky if i get one shift a week?? You can be praying for job opportunities. I will be going to nanny for my sister in New york end of august for a bit. This week i get to see another brother/sister in law/ 2 other nieces which should be fun! thanks for reading and praying and support. love ya, brittany

ONe God, ONe Purpose!
Last saturday i returned home from a mission trip to Toronto, Canada! Toronto is one of the largest cities and we worked mainly witht the homeless and marginalized people of the city. We would help prepare food and serve it and talk to people from the street who would drop in for a meal. While doing that on one particular day i got to talk with a lady who mentioned that she wass Buddhist, i sat and listened as i prayed that i might have words to speak to her. It made me so thankful for the hope i do have and even more that when i return home i might pray for her and people like her who believe in false gods. We also handed out lunches in parks and socks and toiletries. Most people were very greatful some just no expression at all. Going in to the trip i was a bit nervous to talk to people and thinking just another mission trip. God totally slashed that idea and really opened my eyes to how he is at work all over. And another cool thing that our city director said was you dont know the affect you have on people to maybe long after your gone and may never see the people again. Our team was so unified another great part of the trip with a variety of young and old on the trip. All this great stuff and there definately was hurdles before and during that satan was attacking us. God helped us prevail and do the work we were asked! Well it is almost june and time for another summer. My job cleaning will be done next week. I have picked up more hours at bath and body works which is where i will stay for the summer unless something else comes along. Please pray for a steady long term job! love to all, brittany noelle

spring is in the air!!
hey to all...
well sorry about this whole blog thing i know all of you love reading about my life and i just let so much time fly before i post, none the less here is another glimpse into my life. As i am writing this the birds are chirping and the weather is beautiful and warm and i love it. if any of you southerners even knew what us northerners go through in the winter months its brutal. its cold from abuot november til april, (thats like half a year). anyways its lovely to have the warmness ahead. today in about an hour actually i am going with my mom to pick up my bro in law and niece from the airport they are coming for like a day as he has to do some immigration stuff hes from spain, so that will be an added bonus to my weekend. also i am gearing up for next weekend we are having a huge garage sale to raise money for our mission trip going around the house looking for stuff to sell!! Alos in preparation we are memorizing 1 peter 3:8-17 which has been a blast to just look closely and have Gods word at forefront of my mind. *As a little prayer request for our trip we are in need of two 15 passenger vans to be provided * Last weekend for Easter my parents were on their way home from florida so i didnt have a "real" easter i guess you could say. I did attend 2 different churches and went to pick up a friend in chicago who had been away in africa for 3 months, good times! I am also looking forward to visiting my 2 brothers , sister in law and 2 nieces in about a week and a half for 5 days. I am really thankful for a lot of little things such as even having a job as i see so many unemployed or out of jobs and also other necessities i am richer than about 2/3 of our world which i fail to acknowledge sometimes. Please also pray for a summer/permanent job!! thanks for all your love and support!

For Bekah........!
well a few things have changed since my last post. since bekah wont leave me alone to keep posting here is one for good measure. as some of you know i applied to work at a camp close to home called Gull Lake ministries, after talking with the recruiter about a week ago i felt it best not to take the position for various reasons and have felt a peace about that. i did not want to go into the summer and be only a few days in then have to back out i am Glad God gave me wisdom in that decision. Also probably within the last week i have decided to take a mission trip with my church to toronto, Cananda (eh!) May 18-23! wE just had our first meeting yesterday. while there we will be doing a lot of hands on work with the homeless. I am excited to see what God has in store! I have enjoyed watching the NCAA march madness play and our very own MIchigan State spartans are in the Final Four, GO big 10! Also on Tv proudly for american idol right here from kalamazoo is Matt Giraud, although i am not his biggest fan.
On to more important things... I am still loving being part of the middle school youth group at church it is a real blessing. I have invited the girls over for a slumber party over their spring break. I pray they will see and taste a glimpse of Gods goodness and joy in their life as they continue to seek Him amidst many many struggles. Also on Thursday nights i am co leading a Bible study for the high schoolers with a book called Experienceing God and this is where i find my self drawing from in quiet times. Today the simple term "GOD is love" jumped out at me and how i need to embrace that daily. Last night was able to share in some very comical happenings with a college friends! Thats all for todays post. Much love to all! Would appreciate prayers on a summer job.

24 and aging!!!
SO random title i know thought it may be catchy though. march is sure flying by with no signs of slowing down. cold here in kzoo about 20 but sunny and no signs of more snow thank goodness. so some of you know where i came from back in october and i just want to take a moment to thank GOd for where he has brought and brought me through. experiences are really what make or break you. I am joyful and i do not say that lightly, i really feel God doing some amazing things. So little update is that what this is for..... working at gull lake ministries in the housekeeping department mon. through wed. definately humbling experience all i got to say. a few days at bath and body works which picked back up really slow for a bit. that has been a great opportunity for different reasons. annd then i am also working with the middle schoolers at freshwater community church on thursday nights which has been a blast. last week i shared my testimony which went well. and then last weekend we also did a 30 hr. famine to raise money for world vision just a small glimpse of what starving kids really go through. keeping up on american idol (love the girl with red hair 16 yr. old and matt giraud from my hometown). hanging with some friends is what i fill other time with: actually got to see my mostest cool friend from college the other night misty and funny story we were at mcdonalds and i was choking on a snack wrap and she didnt know hiemlich but thankfully i came too after lots of coughing. well that concludes this update: please be praying for summer plans/ fall too!! you are all missed. may God be glorified :))

love is in the air :)
top five reasons i love my k instituters:
5. they pick me up at the bus at 730 am
4. i can beat anyone at ping pong
3. challenge in "belief statements"
2. go to spring field together/ sonic
1. IN MY LIFE BE LIFTED HIGH
ONe of my huge concerns is medicine v. faith!! I believe GOd has put doctors in place who know a lot more than us to balance some things out and that is what i figured out earlier and am still trying to come to terms with. Also the spiritual aspect of it and the battle to fight for time with GOD just me and Him and hhow hard that is! In January i went back to the doctor/psychiatrist for a check up. i got put on lamictal which is a mood stabilizer. i also got put on prozac which is an anti depressant.
after not seeing my fellow classmates for almost 4 months i decided to take a visit to Branson over valentines weekend. I decided to go the long route and take the bus there (almost 16 hours), with a little layover in chicago and st. louis. i left my house thursday at 3 pm and got there friday at 8 am! my bottom was a little sore when i arrived there.
i spent the morning doing precept bible study with them in 2 thess. was able to go to a concert friday night in springfield. saturday night we did a service project called loaves and fishes where we served foood and there was karoake kind of. sunday was able to visit TELOS (tell the lost) church. Thinking this would be a really hard trip and i would be sad it was extremely exciting and i was able to be at peace going back to michigan.
LOVE TO ALL!!! HAppy Spring time!

Lookin fine in 2009
well....here i am to tell you a little glimpse of my life!!! so i will give you a play by play of every minute and every day spent in january, just kidding. i watched the iowa hawkeyes pull out a victory in the outback bowl which was fascinating and spent some time cleaning that day as well. so moving on not too exciting i did drive 3 times to Detroit, MIchigan where the airport is located. my dad was gone to india for 2 weeks and i escorted his team there and picked them up. the other trip was to pick up my sis and niece for a surprise for my moms bday. i did pull together some of her friends and go to olive garden for another surprise. ( i feel so bad for my mom cause my dad is always gone on her bday) anywho.....i am not quite sure where time goes but it seems to fly right by.

Closing of 2008
Wow. i am a horrible writer, dont like to read much, but would like to keep friends and family somewhat updated on my life through this technology called blogging! anyway december was a pretty good month for the most part, i dont know how i have lived in michigan almost 18 years of my life. It was rather cold with almost record breaking snowfall. those winter months sure get me down, like not just the blues but i get DEPRESSED! Fall is when usually my depression hits a high not sure why?? So my short term memory has kind of got the best of me to be honest and not quite sure what december held. I know that i was on a medicine that sure was not working, it gave me racing heart problems in the morning and so i quickly changed that up. Amidst all this crud in my life, God has been faithful. He has shown me time and again his plan. Still really wrestling for why i had to leave Branson, Mo and the Kanakuk Institute which was something i had been looking forward to and was sure i was in the "right" spot. Now being home almost 2 months i still was not quite into a routine at home. December came and went. I was really blessed to have my sister, niece and bro home for my birthday on the 22nd. Also three of my friends from college came down to celebrate it was great. Not to mentiion the incredible package i received from my friends back in Missouri!!! God has really put some amazing people in my life, may he get all the Glory. To end the year i spent it with the middle schoolers at freshwater community church where i just recently stepped in to help with. We played games, bball, nintendo wii, guitar hero (which im pretty good at) and ate lots of food. Nothing like looking fine in 09'!
